Fairfield Stadium was the home field of the Marshall Thundering Herd in Huntington, West Virginia. It opened in 1928 and held 18,000 fans. The stadium has since been demolished (it closed in 1990).

Marshall's football home, also used by Huntington high schools, until Marshall University Stadium (now Joan C. Edwards Stadium) opened in 1991; capacity is its peak after the 1970s renovation (17,312 at closing). It was demolished in 2004 and the site holds Marshall's Forensic Science Center and a medical school clinic.
