Seating & views

Ohio Stadium, the Horseshoe, seats 102,780. Its south end remains partly open, keeping the horseshoe shape. Instead of one big bowl, the upper deck hangs over part of the lower deck, creating the A, B and C decks. A 1998-2001 renovation added 81 suites and 2,500 club seats, and permanent south stands over the tunnels came in 2014. Students sit in the South Stands, where the O-H-I-O chant usually starts. The marching band returned to the north end in 2025. The Rotunda at the north entrance has stained glass murals and a Pantheon-inspired dome. New 1922 Club and south end zone premium seating were planned for 2026.

Parking & tailgating

Lots and garages open at 5 a.m. on game days. Season permit holders park in reserved lots such as West Stadium, Sisson and Tuttle Garage. Day-of public parking is first come, first served and cashless, priced in 2025 at $60 for premier lots, $40 for nearby garages like Neil Avenue and Arps, and $30 elsewhere. Single-game Sisson and Fawcett Center passes were sold in advance. A free West Campus shuttle runs from six hours before kickoff, and RVs need permits. Ohio State has banned open containers in its lots and limited grilling to propane on surface lots. Check Ohio State's traffic and parking page, since details change.
