Astrodome was the home field of the Houston Oilers and the Houston Cougars in Houston, Texas. It opened in 1965 and seats 59,969 fans. It still stands today.

Oilers home until the team left for Tennessee after 1996; closed and largely vacant (used for storage) beside NRG Stadium, with redevelopment proposals pending. Capacity is the 1995-2001 figure. The first domed multipurpose stadium, home to Houston football for over three decades until the Cougars moved back to on-campus Robertson Stadium in 1998. It still stands vacant beside NRG Stadium.
