Robertson Stadium
Robertson Stadium was the home field of the Houston Oilers, the Houston Cougars and the Texas Southern Tigers in Houston, Texas. It opened in 1942 and held 36,000 fans. The stadium has since been demolished (it closed in 2012).
Oilers' first home (as Jeppesen Stadium); demolished in 2012 and replaced on the same site by the University of Houston's current stadium, a different building. Houston school district stadium beside campus, used by the Cougars in their first seasons and again after leaving the Astrodome in 1998. It was demolished after the 2012 season and the current Houston stadium was built on the same site.
