Seating & views

Notre Dame Stadium seats 77,622 after its 2017 Campus Crossroads project, which attached three buildings to the bowl: Duncan Student Center on the west, Corbett Family Hall on the east and O'Neill Hall on the south. Those buildings hold the premium seating, with club and loge seats on levels 7 and 8 and the South Club in O'Neill. Most of the bowl is bleachers; chairbacks sit in lower sections 8 to 12 and 26 to 30. The student section is sections 29 through 36. For afternoon games the west side, sections 24 to 32 and 125 to 131, gets shade from Duncan, while the east sideline stays sunniest.

Parking & tailgating

Notre Dame sells cashless pay-to-park passes for the Blue, Gold, Burke and Dorr lots at $50 per game, with passes through the ticket office or ParkMobile, plus off-campus lots at Saint Mary's and Holy Cross colleges. Stadium and Joyce lots need a University pass. Shuttles run from the Gold, Blue and Bulla lots, and Transpo's free Game Day Express runs from downtown South Bend. Lots open at 8 a.m. regardless of kickoff, and tailgating is allowed before and after the game, not during it. Propane grills and 10-by-10 tents are fine; charcoal, speakers and kegs are not.
