Seating & views

Michigan Stadium, the Big House, has an official capacity of 107,601 and has held crowds above 115,000, including a record 115,109 against Notre Dame in 2013. Most seats sit below ground level, so the bowl looks far smaller from outside than it is. A 2010 renovation added a new press box, 83 luxury boxes and 3,200 club seats in towers along the sidelines, including the Jack Roth Stadium Club on the east side. Every capacity figure since 1956 has ended in 01, a nod to a seat said to be saved for former athletic director Fritz Crisler. Every home game since 1975 has drawn more than 100,000.

Parking & tailgating

Michigan Stadium has drawn more than 100,000 fans to every home game since November 1975, so expect heavy traffic and plan to arrive early. Check Michigan's official gameday parking page before you go, since lots, prices and rules change from season to season.
