Seating & views
ASU's stadium sits between two Tempe buttes and holds 53,599 after a 2014 to 2019 rebuild that removed seats, though the athletics site lists 56,000. The oval has a lower bowl, loge level and a club on every side: Coach's, Legends' and Founders' clubs on the west, the Hobbs Family Stadium Club south, San Tan Ford Club east and North Terrace Club north, plus field-level North Loge Boxes. Students sit on the south end and enter through the southeast gate. Visiting fans and band sit in the north end zone. Games are hot even at night, and the free, air-conditioned Huss Hideout on the upper east side offers relief.
Parking & tailgating
Pass-holder lots ring the stadium, including the Black, Pink, Copper, Green, Maroon and Gold lots and the Stadium 5 and South Packard Drive 7 structures. Guest lots such as the Rural Road and Towers structures, the Gammage Lot and NOVUS garage cost $20. Transit is a strong option: Valley Metro light rail stops at Veterans Way/College Avenue, a short walk from the south end, and the Tempe Streetcar serves Marina Heights on the north side. Tailgating happens in pass lots and on parking-structure roofs, with propane grills only, beer and wine only, plus a free Pitchfork Pregame Tailgate. Check ASU's Know Before You Go page each week.
