Seating & views

The Coliseum seats 77,500 after a $315 million renovation finished in 2019 replaced every seat with a wider one and added legroom and handrails. The field runs east to west, with the restored peristyle arches at the east end. A new south-side tower holds suites, loge boxes, club seats and the press box. The Legion student section sits in the northeast, sections 123 to 127 and 226 to 228, entering at Gate 28 near the California Science Center. There is no roof, so sun matters: the south side and west end zone shade first for late games, while the north sideline and east end stay sunny longest.

Parking & tailgating

Exposition Park lots around the Coliseum are permit-only for USC games, with no cash lots. On campus, the Downey, McCarthy, Jefferson, Figueroa and Grand Avenue structures take mobile pay first come, first served, while the Shrine, Royal Street and Flower Street structures are prepaid through JustPark. Campus is about a ten-minute walk. Metro's E Line is the easy option, with Expo Park/USC and Expo/Vermont stations under five minutes from the gates. Tailgating on campus centers on Alumni Memorial Park and nearby grounds, but groups need a permit, setups start six hours before kickoff, and glass is banned. Check USC's gameday parking page before you go.
