Seating & views
Neyland Stadium seats 101,915 in a fully enclosed double-decked bowl on the Tennessee River. Lower-level sections use single letters, the upper level uses double letters, the north end zone upper deck uses X, Y and Z prefixes and the west upper sideline uses a T prefix. Sections T and U sit closest to the 50 on the Tennessee sideline. For 3:30 kickoffs the west side is the shade side, while the east sideline, especially A-F and AA-FF, stays sunny longest. The back rows of the lower bowl sit under the upper deck. Premium options include East and West club seats, suites and the climate-controlled Tennessee Terrace on the west side.
Parking & tailgating
Campus lots near the stadium, including Lot 9, Lot 30 and the G10 garage, are permit-only and open at 7 a.m. Limited paid public parking along Volunteer Boulevard West was $60 through ParkMobile in 2025, and downtown garages and lots charged $3 to $60. KAT runs $10 round-trip gameday shuttles from the Civic Coliseum, Market Square and the Old City starting three hours before kickoff. Tailgating fills Circle Park, where the Vol Walk starts at the Torchbearer statue, and the Vol Navy fleet of 200-plus boats ties up on the river beside the stadium.
