Famous games at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium

Game day

Tradition. A giant stone 'M' sits on the north end zone hill; freshmen whitewash it before the first home game, and fans trade the 'M-I-Z' / 'Z-O-U' chant.

Seating & views

Memorial Stadium is a horseshoe-shaped bowl, double-decked on most sides, with the West tower holding the press box, suites and club seats and an upper east-side balcony added in 2014. The south end zone was rebuilt in 2019 with 16 suites and club decks. The Centennial Project, finished in August 2026, rebuilt the north end with premium tiers, field-level boxes and a Rock M Club, and shrank the general admission Hill, which now needs a ticket and wristband. Students sit in the northeast corner, sections 107-110. Visiting fans sit in the south end.

Parking & tailgating

Mizzou Athletics runs the lots around the stadium on game days. Season parking passes sell out, and single-game parking is prepaid online for the PS7 garage while supplies last. Permit and tailgate lots open at 7 a.m., tailgating starts at 8 a.m., and sites must be cleared by midnight or three hours after the game. Tents are capped at 10x10 and must be sandbagged. Rideshare uses Lot R with a shuttle, Go COMO runs a free shuttle from downtown, and RVs park at Truman's Landing. The Tiger Fan Zone sits on the Tiger Avenue lawn.
