Game day
Tradition. Players touch a crossbar painted 'WIN!' as they leave the locker room, and the team enters through the north end zone goalposts, most famously for night games.
Seating & views
Tiger Stadium seats 102,321, a fully enclosed bowl with upper decks on the west, east and south sides. The 200-level student sections sit mainly in the north and northwest of the bowl, with the Golden Band in Section 217, and visitors sit behind the visiting bench in sections 300 to 306. For afternoon kickoffs the west sideline shades first, while the north end stays sunny late. Most big games are at night, where LSU has a long winning record. Premium options include the West Stadium Club, the South Stadium Club, 70 Tiger Den suites, the open-air Skyline Club atop the south end and The Chute, a 21-and-over beer area.
Parking & tailgating
Tailgating at LSU is a multi-day affair. Interior campus tailgating starts after 4:30 p.m. on the Friday before a home game, and many exterior lots open Thursday evening. Motor homes use reserved areas such as Touchdown Village and Lots 401, 408 and 409, or the single-game Lot 413 on River Road, and must leave by noon the day after the game. Free public parking areas are first come, first served. Lot 406 handles ADA parking, rideshare and a shuttle to the stadium. Tents are capped at 10 by 10 feet and cannot be staked, and cookers are limited to a 55-gallon drum. Check LSU's official gameday parking page, since details change.
