Seating & views
The Swamp seats 88,548, the largest stadium in Florida, and big games often top 90,000. The original bowl sits below ground in a former ravine, and steep, close stands trap noise, measured at 115 decibels at field level. The west side has a second tier, press box, club seats and luxury boxes; the east grandstand was doubled in the 1960s. The south end zone is double-decked, and the north end zone adds upper-deck Sunshine Seats over the Touchdown Terrace club. Students mostly fill the east and south stands. On day games, the west side is shaded by the press box while the east side bakes in the sun.
Parking & tailgating
Gainesville's campus parking is run by UF Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS), which posts gameday closures and traffic impacts on its Parking Updates page and offers event parking reservations. RTS buses and the Campus Connector are the transit options. A $1.45 billion stadium renovation is scheduled to start after the 2026 season, which may change access in coming years.
