Tailgating. The Devils Deck at the north end, added in 2024, offers a tailgate-style standing area with a food package, yard games and a DJ.
Seating & views
Wallace Wade seats 35,018, down from about 40,000 after the Devils Deck opened at the north end in 2024. That terraced area offers standing room and non-reserved seating with a tailgate feel. A 2015-16 renovation removed the running track and lowered the field, bringing seats closer, and added the five-story Blue Devil Tower on the west side with 21 suites, club seating and the press box. Since 2022 students sit in Sections 8 through 11, along the visitors' bench near Duke's tunnel, instead of the old north end zone bleachers. Field-level seats are reached by an elevator behind Section 32.
Parking & tailgating
Roads around the stadium, including Towerview Road and Science Drive, are restricted to Iron Dukes permit holders and accessible placard holders on game days. General public parking has been free in the GC and H lots off Anderson Street and Yearby Avenue, about a 19-minute walk, with shuttle buses from Yearby Avenue to Duke Chapel. Blue Zone lots off Duke University Road are for accessible parking. DevilsGate, Duke's tailgate festival, spreads across Card Lot, Krzyzewskiville and open space near the stadium. Gates open 90 minutes before kickoff, and the stadium is cashless. Check GoDuke.com's gameday parking guide, since details change.
